Vincent Lombardi Lodge #2270, Order Sons & Daughters of Italy in America We are part of the larger state and national Order Sons and Daughters of Italy in America.

Our organization was started to promote and preserve Italian culture and to give back to the community via charitable donations and college scholarships. Our lodge has over 100 members of all ages who share a common heritage. We strive to preserve and protect the customs of our ancestors as we live our lives here in the USA. We want to make sure that both our American culture and customs as well as our Italian history remain alive for our children and grandchildren.

Brothers & Sisters,

It's my sad duty to inform you that one of our members, Sr. Philomena Giambrone, has passed. Calling hours will be at Jennings, Nulton & Mattle Funeral Home, 1704 Penfield Road starting at 4pm and ending 7pm, this Friday (3/20) for anyone who wishes to pay their respects. The family has requested 2 honor guards from our lodge to stand with the coffin during the above time. I'm asking for at least 2 volunteers for this most honorable duty, although 4 to 6 people swapping out during the 3 hours would make things easier. The volunteers would need to wear their lodge shirt to identify them and to please arrive at 3:30 to coordinate with the funeral directors and Philomena's son, Jack. Sr. Marjorie Focarazzo has volunteered to be there at 3:30 and can answer any questions. Please contact me ASAP at [email protected] if you can perform this noble duty for our departed sister and the Giambrone family.

Attention Lodge members. For our April meeting we will be celebrating Easter. There will be a ham dinner. We will have a quick meeting. We will watch the rest of My Italian Secret and then we will have dinner.
