Scare Brain Cancer Away 5K Run & Walk 16th Annual 5K Run/Walk This is a community outreach event organized by volunteers to provide financial support to an individual fighting brain cancer.

This race started in 2009 as a benefit for Steve Ross, an active Scout leader and community member in East Rochester, NY. Steve had been diagnosed with Stage 4 Glioblastoma and fought a two-year battle which sadly he lost on September 25, 2010.
