Hello Everyone! Seeing as it is still breast cancer awareness month we thought it was a good time to start reaching out to potential sponsors, bowlers, or just people wanting to donate.
First off, we would like to recognize the RI BFTC committee president Crystal Gent for taking over the reins a few years ago. She has done a great job so far in bringing this event back to its former glory (pre-Covid). Her efforts, as well as the rest of the committee’s, have increased bowler turnout and donations consecutively for the past few years.
As most of you may or may not know, we are part of a nonprofit organization which holds an annual bowling event to raise money and awareness for those who have been affected by this terrible disease. The event always falls on the first Saturday in February.
RI BFTC has raised upwards of $130,000 over the past 14 years. Last year’s donations alone exceeded $15,000.
If you would like to register a team, sponsor the event or just a lane, or just make a donation in general, feel free to reach out to us at the email on our page.
We would also welcome anyone who would like volunteer for the day of the event. We always need pin spotters and people to work the raffles as well as other small tasks.
