Nothing feels scarier than losing a loved one. Your world is suddenly turned upside down, and nothing makes sense anymore. Your present moment and future are suddenly a series of question marks, and your heart feels so heavy it’s hard to move forward.

As unfamiliar and uncomfortable as this all feels, it’s essential to know that what you’re going through is normal—and the Lord knows your pain. The Lord intimately knows grief and loss, and He will walk alongside you through this, offering you His comfort and peace. His light will guide you through this darkness.

Here's Michelle M. experience with GriefShare

Sis Goddess and her husband were great hosts. I felt a sense of community within the group. We had the opportunity to express our feelings and emotions and not feel judged. The videos were helpful as well. I would recommend this class to anyone that is experiencing grief and loss.

Thank you so much to our wonderful host.

Here's Tiffani A. experience with GriefShare

I never thought I would join a grief support group. Honestly, I didn’t think I would want to, and I definitely didn’t feel comfortable sharing something so personal and sensitive—especially with a group of others.

I even made excuses, telling myself I was already seeing a counselor, so why would I need GriefShare too?

When I first came across GriefShare, I avoided it. But something kept nudging me—just to try it. I believe that was the Holy Spirit pushing me gently out of my comfort zone.

And I’m so glad I listened. God knew I needed this.

Being here, in a group with others who understand grief, has been more powerful than I expected. There’s something healing about not going through this alone—about being able to share, listen, and sit with people who truly get it.

GriefShare also helped me connect my grief journey with the Bible, reminding me that God is present even in loss and that His Word speaks directly to what we’re feeling.

I’ve learned coping tools that are helping me face the reality of losing my mom. And through the videos and conversations, I’ve heard things I didn’t even know were normal to feel. Some of those emotions—I didn’t even know they were part of grief.

Being in this group has helped me feel seen, understood, and supported—not just individually, but together.

I didn’t think I needed a group like this… but now I’m truly grateful I’m not walking this journey alone.
