Tri-Cities High School Department of World Languages Our department is proud to have a cadre of six highly-qualified, AP/TAG certified language teachers who promote a love of second language acquisition.

Learning a second language can be both challenging and exciting at the same time. Our instructors seek to promote a love for second language acquisition in a non-threatening celebratory environment. We promote and encourage an appreciation for diversity and of the need to be culturally aware and culturally sensitive. Our department is proud to have a cadre of six highly-qualified, enthusiastic t

eachers who are committed to moving our students from novice-low to novice high proficiency levels. One half of our department's staff are native speakers (Spanish; French), while the other half of our teachers are language majors. Three of our teachers are AP certified; and one member of our staff is certified TAG (talented and gifted). All of our teachers are committed to promoting a love and appreciation for second-language acquisition at the highest levels of achievement.
