We are excited to announce that our recipient for this year's event is Major Asay.

After the incredible support our community showed during the Bionic Bowl, we knew our work wasn't finished. Major's journey will require much more than one prosthetic limb, and we're committed to continuing to stand beside him and his family.

If you're not familiar with Major's story, it is one of unimaginable strength and resilience.

At just 11 years old, Major tested positive for a Group A Streptococcus infection. What followed was devastating. He went into septic shock, toxic shock syndrome, and multi-system organ failure. To save his life, doctors were forced to amputate his leg, his arm, and his left thumb.

Just like every Iron Leg story, this isn't where the story ends—it's where our community steps in.

🏈 BIONIC BOWL UPDATE 🏈

Whew! It has been a few days since our charity football game, and we couldn't be more excited to share that we reached our goal of raising $20,000 for Major and his future prosthetic needs!

We could not have accomplished this without the generosity and support of so many amazing people. Thank you to everyone who donated, attended the game, volunteered, and sponsored this event, especially our game day sponsor Lancaster Nissan. Your support made a real difference in a child's life.

A special thank you to our 2025 Golf Outing recipient, Abby, along with her mom Sarah and sister Alexa, who joined us on game day. They were a tremendous help with setup, teardown, and assisting throughout the event. They also raised money in their hometown and generously donated it to Major and his family.

We would also like to thank former Philadelphia Eagles players Irving Fryar and Hollis Thomas for taking time out of their schedules to support our event and spend time with our fans. Thank you to Garrison Carida and the Star Wars characters for creating unforgettable memories and photo opportunities throughout the day. We would also like to thank Dance Stylez Entertainment for providing an incredible halftime performance, and the podcast gang that helped make the event even more special for Major and all of our guests.

The game was a huge success, the weather was perfect, and the atmosphere was incredible. We hope everyone who attended had a great time as well. Please enjoy some of the photos from game day!

Due to construction at the stadium, entrance to the game will be to the far right of main gate entrance and near the parking garage. Beautiful day for a game!! Gates open at 3pm and kickoff is at 7pm. General Admission is $10 and VIP to meet and greet with Irving Fryar and Hollis Thomas is only $50 at the gate.

Matt, Sean and Ashley got the opportunity to meet with Irving Fryar and Hollis Thomas today while they were attending a local golf charity event. Get your chance tomorrow to meet these great guy at the Iron Leg Bionic Bowl Charity Football game 6/20/26 at Biemesderfer Stadium in Millersville, PA. Meet and greet will be 4pm-6pm! VIP tickets are available online and at the gate. Kickoff is at 7pm.
