Troop 627 East Peoria

Troop 627 is proud to announce our newest Eagle Scout! Mia Atterberry completed her Eagle Board of Review last night. She's the first female cub scout in our community to go on to the eagle rank.

Mia joined Pack 147 in 2018 as part of the first class of girls in Cub Scouts. In Spring 2019, she earned her Arrow of Light and crossed over to Troop 1627, of which she was a founding member. In April 2021, she completed her First Class rank. In May 2022, she was elected to the Order of the Arrow. After 7 years of summer camp and 60 merit badges, she completed her Eagle Rank on March 11th, 2026.

Troop 1627 (girls) and Troop 627 (boys) are participating the the pilot program to be combined co-ed troop. For the next year, Troop 1627 will be on hold, and all scouts will be part of Troop 627. We have created one patrol for girls, and one patrol for boys. We're looking forward to sharing our experience! For more information, see
