Race Swami

Race Swami is a diverse, nonprofit outreach swim program located in Rose Park/Glendale, a west side community in Salt Lake City

Race Swami’s purpose is to introduce competitive swimming to west side neighborhood youth and their families. We seek to provide a healthy and stimulating environment in which these young athletes can grow and compete. Race Swami emphasizes excellence in academics as well as athletics and supports swimmers and parents in the achievement of high academic standards. Race Swami is a member club of USA Swimming and competes in meets held under the sanctions of Utah Swimming, the local affiliate.

Yesterday was a fantastic day for our Race Swami Belle Haven crew! Our coaching staff (Coach Naji Ali, Coach Lulu Estrada and Coach Meredith Rohr) was invited to the Palo Alto Community Fund’s annual breakfast gathering held at the Chan Zuckerberg Community Space in Redwood City to honor the organizations who received grants for 2026... Race Swami Belle Haven was one of 71 local organizations honored! These grants are made possible by the generosity of PACF donors, and the investments respond to immediate challenges while strengthening the long-term resilience of the community. We are so very honored by their support! Our grant will help bring more local kids from the East Palo Alto and Belle Haven communities so they can be part of a very special swimming community! THANK YOU, PACF!

Nothin but good vibrations at this weekend’s OA Winter Blast meet! Our swamis brought their A-game, in the water, and on deck cheering and dancing 🕺 Great job to all the swimmers that were brave and conquered some new/tougher events like the 500 free, 200 fly and 400IM!!
