I am SO excited to announce that Turning Purple Into Progress Foundation is officially a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization! 🎉💜

This means we can officially begin accepting tax-deductible donations and putting them toward the mission that started all of this - supporting pancreatic cancer patients and caregivers, raising awareness, promoting early detection, and helping move research forward. 🎗️

What started as an idea inspired by Anthony’s journey is now OFFICIAL. 🥹💜

💜 It’s Okay to Have a Bad Day 💜

Some days, you’re strong.
You make the appointments, answer the calls, take the medications, ask the questions, handle the responsibilities, and somehow keep moving forward.

And some days… you’re just tired.

For patients, there are days when the pain, uncertainty, treatments, side effects, and emotions feel like too much.

For caregivers, there are days when the phone calls, appointments, responsibilities, worry, and constant need to “hold it together” become overwhelming.

And both are okay.

You don’t have to be positive every day to be brave.
You don’t have to smile through something that hurts.
You don’t have to pretend you aren’t angry, scared, frustrated, exhausted, or just plain over it.

A bad day doesn’t mean you’ve lost hope.
It doesn’t mean you’re giving up.

Sometimes it simply means today was hard.

So cry if you need to. Be frustrated. Take a break. Give yourself some grace.

Tomorrow, we try again. 💜
