The Sisters' Place East Orange THE SISTERS PLACE at 68 4th Ave, East Orange, NJ, has been a hub for activities for Muslim women and children. Founded in 2008 by Fatimah Subhanallah

The Sisters’ Place houses Homeschool High Academy, a hybrid (online & physical) middle and high school, and IQRA Children’s Services offering IQRA Teen Club, and IQRA Summer Camp. THE SISTERS’ PLACE offers a venue for monthly MUSLIMS AGAINST HUNGER feedings in inclement weather, DISASTER RELIEF ASSISTANCE food and supplies distribution, monthly meetings for the WOMEN’S AUXILIARY of Masjid Ashabul

Yameen, as well as other ongoing activities. We are currently working on a FOOD PANTRY and CLOTHES RACK of gently used items. The Sisters’ Place has hosted SPA DAYS, GAME NIGHTS, FRIDAY FITNESS, CHILDREN’S MOVIE NIGHTS, SISTERS 4 SISTERS, YOUNG MUSLIMS FASHION DISPLAY and several more activities. The Sisters place is available for rental for events and can accommodate 20 –– 60 people on one or two levels for henna parties, socials, meetings, games night, movies, luncheons, fight night, repast, reception, poetry café, etc.
