Fellow neighbors — a neighbor needs your help! Joe Joblonski has spent years doing hands-on work at the Joy Avenue Food Forest and pathway, helping create a welcoming space with 300+ trees and plants that provide free, fresh food and a safe route for the community.

Last month, Joe was in a serious accident that left both of his knees broken. He’s now in a wheelchair and unable to work, with a long recovery ahead. We’ve launched a GoFundMe to help him get through the coming months—any support is deeply appreciated.

No experience needed — just bring gloves, water, and your helping hands. Families and kids welcome! It’s a great way to get outside, meet new people, and make a real difference in our shared green space. 💚

Calling all northeast neighbors! On Saturday, Nov 1, from 11 AM to 1 PM, we’re gathering at the Joy Avenue Food Forest for a work party. The JFF is located in the 1600 block of Bethel Street, about 1.5 blocks north of the SF Bakery.

Whether you have 30 minutes or the full two hours, any of your time will help!

Together, we will:
💚Clean up and maintain our community food forest
💚 Support a living landscape that feeds people & strengthens neighborhood roots
💚 Meet fellow neighbors, get fresh air, earn good karma

Raffle rave at our Party in the Pocket Park ~Tomorrow ~ Saturday 12-4pm

Dear neighbors and friends,
It's me again with one more reason to celebrate your extraordinary neighborhood with your neighbors tomorrow, Saturday, 9-13 at our Party in the Pocket Park.

We know everyone that comes will leave the party with great memories, good new friends, some sweet swag, and a deeper appreciation of what makes our neighborhood such a special place to live.
