I believe that sport has the power to unite people and create positive change. That's why I started United We Ball, a nonprofit organization that uses sport to improve our community. in 2016, After the recent shootings of unarmed men and women by police officers, I sought to seek to open a dialogue between the police and the community they serve through a basketball game. et with extremely positive reviews, a great turnout, was featured on several local news stations and CNN's Headline News. I believe that the best way to bridge the gap between the police and the community is through communication, understanding, and teamwork. If you're passionate about using sport to make a difference, I encourage you to join us. Together, we can unite our community, set an example to the world, and create a better future for everyone!
