TRAC TRAC, Trail Riders Access Coalition, is a advocacy group dedicated to the public access to the East Lynn Lake Wildlife Management Management Area

TRAC, Trail Riders Access Coalition, was created to support the pubilc's right for equal access to the East Lynn Lake Wildlife Management Area. The Hatfield-McCoy Trail Authority has been looking to expand into Wayne County for several years. TRAC is not against the Hatfield-McCoy Trails. TRAC believes the Hatfield-McCoy trails can be an excellent recreational opportunity. TRAC IS opposed to the

Hatfield-McCoy trails takeover of the East Lynn Lake Wildlife Management Area. A takeover of this area would mean that others who currently use this area would be excluded unless they adhere to the rules governing Hatfield-McCoy trails. Last August, Evan Jenkins secured significant funding to expand the Hatfield-McCoy Trails.See the following article. https://evanjenkins.house.gov/media-center/press-releases/rep-jenkins-announces-hatfield-mccoy-trails-grant

Since then, the Wayne County Commission has also signed on to the East Lynn takeover. Recently, Don Perdue, a member of the Wayne County Economic Development Authority, was appointed as a board member to to the Hatfield-McCoy Recreation Authority Board. http://www.waynecountynews.com/news.htm

In addition, several news outlets have featured stories on the new Hatfield-McCoy trails coming to Wayne County. TRAC believes that the Hatfield McCoy Recreation Authority is working as hard as they can to take over the East Lynn Wildlife Management Area as soon as possible. Information TRAC has received indicates that their intention is to take over all roads into the area and all trails within the East Lynn Lake property.

Here we go.

New units of the Hatfield-McCoy Trails system could take shape next year in Wayne and Boone counties, thanks to grants from the Federal Highway Administration’s Transportation Alternatives and Recreational Trails

I just wanted to inform everyone that ever since the state announced to allow public access to trails at Cabwaylingo State Park, Don Perdue is already trying to destroy that. He is pushing for the Hatfield McCoy trail and for them to bring in their ridiculous rules and regulations and charge you to ride through their park. Does this man not understand that we do not want his trail in Wayne county? If you're like me, I'm sick and tired of hearing about this ridiculous, and unwanted Hatfield McCoy trail. Does the current Wayne county commission ever come up with any other ideas besides this? You would think that when a Wayne county poll showed that the overwhelming majority of its citizen were against it, they would do what the people elected them into office to do and stop it. Just goes to show that people like Don Perdue, do not care about Wayne County or it's citizens and he definitely should not be in office.

If you are against the Hatfield McCoy trail from destroying the beautiful backcountry behind East Lynn Lake, DO NOT VOTE FOR DON PERDUE! This man continues to support this trail even though it would destroy local wildlife and the environment. Not to mention, greatly disrupting family cemeteries and church services held back there, all throughout the year. A survey held by the Wayne County newspaper, which showed great outcry and overwhelming majority against it, yet he still shows his support for this. This tells me that he does not care about what Wayne County citizens think or want. This post is in no way affiliated with any candidate. Just a concerned citizen who doesn't want to see another man like this in office.
