The Community Coalition for Children began in the fall of 1996, to serve the needs of families throughout the region. Our unique collaboration of public, independent and alternative schools, institutions, and community service organizations sponsors dynamic and informative presentations and Teen Summits with practical solutions for living and working with children. The major vehicle for our effort

s is an annual two-day presentation and workshop combination hosted at The Garde Arts Center and Connecticut College. Participants have given us extremely positive feedback regarding our efforts to meet our goals.
