Awards Night is always one of the most meaningful evenings of the year at The Meadows Lodge. Family and friends gathered with us to celebrate fellowship, service, and achievement within our fraternity. Wor. Arvi John Roffe remarked that it is one of his favorite evenings of the year — though as Masons often say, the best lodge meeting or event is always the next one.
R.W. Dylan Mann mad a fraternal visit to observe and participate in the evening’s events.
We were honored to recognize Wor. Bro. Gilbert Hunter on the 50th anniversary of his leadership of our predecessor Lodge, Charles C. Spellman Lodge. It was an emotional and well-deserved tribute to a Brother who played an integral role in the construction of our lodge building in 1967 and whose dedication continues to inspire us all.
Bro. Peter Vanassche was recognized with The Masters Award for his dedication to the fraternity and especially to his care of the American flag ensuring it follows federal and state guidelines and the flag is in good repair. Bro. Carl Sweeney accepted on Bro. Vanassche’s behalf.
We also celebrated Bro. Adam Sharpe on completing his Master Mason degree on March 30. Congratulations, Brother, on reaching this important milestone in your Masonic journey.
Finally, congratulations to Wor. Daryl Amaral, recipient of the Joseph Warren Medal for exemplary service to our fraternity. His kindness, attention to detail, handyman skills, and leadership are deeply appreciated and admired by all who know him.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the evening memorable. Fraternity, recognition, and fellowship were truly on full display.
