East Longmeadow High School Athletic Hall of Fame Association The ELHS Athletic Hall of Fame honors former athletes, coaches, and teams for their outstanding abilities and contributions to the athletics in EL.

The East Longmeadow High School Athletic Hall of Fame will honor former athletes, coaches, contributors and teams for their outstanding abilities and contributions to the proud tradition of athletics in the Town of East Longmeadow MA. The Athletic Hall of Fame will induct new members each year. A permanent exhibit at East Longmeadow High School will be established to publicly display a record of t

he accomplishments of those honored. The members of the ELHSAHOF committee are as follows: Mike Raschilla, Pat Bean, Bob Mazzariello, Carl Ohlin, Cathy Hood, Dick Moriarty, Elizabeth Cleavall, Erin Duffy, Michael J. The East Longmeadow Athletic Hall of Fame has received approximately 60 films taken of East Longmeadow sports from 1960-1980. They are on 8 millimeter film. The tapes are brittle and would be difficult to use in a projector. The tapes are video only. Most are football but there are some basketball and soccer. We converted one basketball film (1966 Championship at Curry Hicks) to CD at a cost of $80. We want to see if there is any interest in the community to convert some of the more memorable events to CD (Super Bowl victory over Algonquin at Springfield College in 1976). Go to Mario's Cafe Ambiance tomorrow Thursday, October 19th to support the East Longmeadow Athletic Hall of Fame. The restaurant opens at 4:00pm. You can dine in or take out. Delicious food for a good cause.
