We are delighted to announce this year’s winners of the EL Earth Day Logo creation contest. Students in our elementary schools got creative and it shows!

Congratulations to Christina Salagornik, Addison Hensinger, Joanna Irene Seiler have each created logos that will be used in 2027 to help spread the word about our big cleanup day. If you see them be sure to ask them about the details of their thoughtful art!

Thank you to all participating students for your hard work!

LARGEST TREE IN THE WORLD
Location : Giant Forest of Sequoia National Park in Tulare County, California, USA.
The General Sherman Tree is the world's largest tree, measured by volume. It stands 275 feet (83 m) tall, and is over 36 feet (11 m) in diameter at the base. Sequoia trunks remain wide high up. Sixty feet above the base, the Sherman Tree is 17.5 feet (5.3 m) in diameter. It is estimated to be around 2,300 to 2,700 years old.
