We are excited to announce the ELYA Skills & Drills Soccer Camp at Thompson Park this summer!

Whether your child is a seasoned soccer player or has never kicked a soccer ball before, this camp is designed to help young athletes learn the fundamentals, improve their skills, build confidence, and most importantly, have fun.

This FREE camp will focus on:
⚽ Ball handling and footwork
⚽ Passing and receiving
⚽ Shooting and scoring
⚽ Agility and movement drills
⚽ Teamwork and sportsmanship
⚽ Fun games and competitions

Our goal is to introduce more youth to the game of soccer while helping players of all skill levels grow and develop in a positive environment.

We look forward to seeing everyone who loves the sport of soccer—or wants to learn it for the first time—come out and join us at Thompson Park for a great experience!

Dates: July 8 & July 10
Location: Thompson Park Lower Field
Cost: FREE

What a great showing at the Moore Street Playground today!

Our Community Force volunteers put their feet on the ground and got to work. We repainted the swing sets, installed swings, cleared w**ds, and tackled a wall that was completely overgrown with vines, brush, and limbs. While there was simply too much vegetation to finish everything in one afternoon, we made a huge impact and will be back before the summer is over to continue the transformation.

A huge shoutout to all of the youth volunteers who came out and gave their time to make our community a better place. Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed.

We also want to thank The Vault in downtown East Liverpool for providing lunch for our volunteers after the project. The kids earned it!

This is what community looks like. One project at a time, one volunteer at a time, making East Liverpool better for everyone.

🚨 Community Force is Back in Action! 🚨

Join us on June 14th at 2:00 PM as we continue making a difference in our community! Our first project will focus on cleaning up and improving the Moore Street Playground, located next to the Fawcett Apartments. Sign up link will be posted tomorrow evening!

This month, we have multiple projects planned, including:
✅ Moore Street Playground
✅ Bank Street
✅ Orchard Grove

We have a lot of work ahead of us, including mowing, w**d eating, cleanup, and general beautification efforts. With equipment and moving parts on site, safety is our top priority.

Volunteers should be rising 5th through 12th grade students. Younger children are welcome to attend, but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

Let's show up, show out, and make a visible impact in our neighborhoods. Community Force is about service, leadership, and taking pride in where we live.

📢 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! 📢

East Liverpool Youth Academy (ELYA) is looking for volunteers for our Walmart Tag Day fundraiser on Saturday, June 13th, from 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM!

This fundraiser supports ALL ELYA programs, helping us continue to provide opportunities and experiences for the youth in our community.

✅ We need volunteers for 2-hour shifts
✅ Each shift requires 4 students and 2 adults
✅ Wear your Mighty Potters gear or blue and white if you have it!

Whether you can volunteer for one shift or multiple shifts, your support makes a difference. This is a great opportunity for students to represent ELYA, connect with the community, and help support programs that benefit so many young people.

🚨 FINAL DAY FOR FOOTBALL REGISTRATION 🚨

Today is the LAST day to register for ELYA Mighty Potters Football.

Registration will close at the end of the day today, and we will not accept any registrations after May 31st. Please do not contact us requesting exceptions, as our rosters, spreadsheets, and planning documents will be finalized and our uniform order will be submitted tomorrow morning.

If your child wants to play football this season, make sure they are registered before the end of the day.

With 82 athletes registered so far ELYA Mighty Potters Football has experienced a 20.6% increase in participation compared to last season. Thank you to our families for helping us continue to grow and provide opportunities for our youth.” 🏈💙
