Leadership Institute at Michigan State University LIMSU is a student organization on campus that serves to empower individuals to dream more, learn more, do more, and become more.

LIMSU aims to offer four different programs to the students of MSU:

SPARTAN LEADERSHIP INITIATIVE

We host systematical skill-building workshops (Invite Leadership Educators: StudentLife Trainers, EAD Instructors, LeaderShape Coordinators). We host public speeches given by invited guest speakers (Alumni, campus leaders), host interviews with successful leaders in Symposiums


THE PRESIDENT FORUM


We build the networking channels for student leaders by hosting Discussion Forums and Symposiums in order to promote communication and work efficiency among different student organizations at MSU. (Gather student leaders, brainstorm solutions for the problems they encounter on running student Org; Expand and share leadership network; Discuss the current issues on campus and brainstorm the advanced policies for MSU; Discuss social issue and ongoing hot topics - share perspectives)


GO EFFECT (SOCIAL OUTREACH)

We lead MSU students to participate in the local community service with the special focus on leadership education. Educate the low-income middle and high school students in Lansing about Leadership, offered during an after-school program


SPARTAN MENTOR

We provide a professional mentorship and advisory system for students to gain the support, care, and constructive input on personal growth and leadership development.
