Indigenous Peoples’ Day reminds us that the lands we live and learn on carry deep histories, traditions, and stories. Zeta Sigma Chi Multicultural Sorority, Inc. honors the resilience and cultural richness of Indigenous communities while continuing to educate ourselves and others about their lasting impact.

Today, we also recognize the Indigenous heritage within our own sisterhood. We extend special appreciation to our Native sister Noni Dagwagek Nosines Qua Leo (SP ’03), whose pride and strength embody the spirit of resilience and unity that this day represents.

We also celebrate our sister Elizabeth Castro-Pumay (FA ‘23), who honors her Guatemalan roots and the Indigenous cultures that continue to shape her heritage and community.

Celebrating 28 YEARS of RADIANCE at Michigan State University.

March 31st, 1996, marks the day that four radiant ladies came together and founded the FIRST Multicultural Sorority at Michigan State University! We are incredibly thankful for our founding sisters “4titude” Dominica Rojas Palacio, Susie Hernandez, Rebecca Garcia Davila, and Melissa Hernandez Spagnolo for fostering a space that empowers women and embraces cultural differences.

For 29 years, we have upheld their legacy of Education, Success, Service, and Sisterhood, and we will continue Keeping the Dream Alive! ✨

We would like to thank everyone who joined us at our cake cutting to celebrate this special day 🖤
