HEALtH Challenge

HEALtH Challenge To learn to breakdown 'wicked' problem into manageable elements that provide a basis for focusing on viable solution.

The HEALtH Challenge will bring together undergraduate and professional students from three participating universities in trans-disciplinary teams. The teams will compete to carefully investigate a global problem from a One Health concept. Team members will work collaboratively to come up with transdisciplinary recommendations for tackling the problem.

The acronym, H.E.A.L.t.H stands for Human, Environment, Animal Links to Heath. The learning objectives of the Challenge are to learn to break down "wicked"problems into manageable elements that provide a basis for focusing on viable pieces of the solution, to work in transdisciplinary teams, to communicate change or possibilities in a manner that inspires others to engage, and to establish sustaining networks of future problem solvers.
