Spartython - MSU Dance Marathon

Spartython - MSU Dance Marathon A student run organization at Michigan State University supporting their local Children's Miracle Network, Sparrow Children's Center

Dance Marathon is an event in which participants, raise money to benefit Children's Miracle Network. At the conclusion of the fundraising, dancers take part in a celebration by staying on their feet to commemorate the struggles that young adults with cancer go through every single day. The event includes live performances, dancing, games, contests, interaction with other student groups and much mo

re! Young adults with cancer that will benefit from our funds and have overcome incredible odds inspire dancers by sharing their testimonies at the event. Dancers are faced with both mental and physical challenges in an effort to symbolize the obstacles faced by these cancer patients and their families! All funds raised by the participants of the marathon help spread awareness and financial support for support groups and cancer camps for young adults ages 17-39. Dance Marathon is the largest and most successful student run charity in the world, especially in the Big Ten. Take this opportunity to experience something incredible, leave your mark on Michigan State, and change a life one step at a time!
