Do you have an interest in dairy cattle and animal science? Be sure to check out the information about the 2026 Michigan 4-H Youth Dairy Days 4-H dairy youth show, 4-H dairy quiz bowl contest, 4-H dairy management contest, and the 4-H dairy showmanship contest! Registration for each educational contest is free! If you are interested in competing in the dairy quiz bowl, dairy management, and/or dairy judging contest and you do not have a complete team, you will be placed on a team after registration closes for each event. The complete schedule, contest, and dairy cattle show information for the 2026 Michigan 4-H Youth Dairy Days is now available! The Michigan 4-H Dairy Youth Program has partnered with the Michigan Junior Holstein Association to host a kickball tournament on the evening of Monday, July 13th where pizza and ice cream will also be served! Check out these camps being offered by the Michigan Army National Guard:

Time is running out to register for our 2026 MING Summer Day Camps! There are only 4 days left to sign up, and spaces are filling up fast.

These one-day camps are a fantastic way for your children to experience the excitement, bonding, and activities of summer camp without staying overnight. Please note that we require a minimum of 10 participants registered for each camp to move forward, so be sure to secure your spot today!

Here is the current availability and highlights for each date:

• June 27: Munising Day Camp ages 8-18
- Status: 17 spaces left!
- Highlights: Located in the beautiful Upper Peninsula, kids will enjoy swimming, fishing, archery, and outdoor skills.

• July 12: Metamora Day Camp ages 6-11
- Status: Only 10 spaces left!
- Highlights: Kids will get hands-on experience with horses and participate in a fun, educational activity all about horses.

• July 19: Grand Rapids Day Camp ages 12-18
- Status: 17 spaces left!
- Highlights: Tailored specifically for our teen population. This is a perfect opportunity to hang out with other military-connected teens, build long-lasting friendships, and take part in challenge courses, leadership training, and team-building activities designed just for them.

• July 30: Jackson Day Camp
- Status: FULL (No spaces left)

The Michigan 4-H Foundation is proud to offer mini-grants of up to $2,000 to help support innovative programs, hands-on learning opportunities and meaningful experiences for Michigan 4-H youth during the 2026-2027 program year.

From educational gardens and horticulture projects to shooting sports and therapeutic horseback riding programs, these grants help strengthen 4-H communities across the state.

Applications are due June 1, 2026.
