Hey Relayers! We're excited to kick off the season this evening as a combined event with the rest of Ingham County! Kickoff will be at Mason First Presbyterian Church at 131 E Maple St at 6:00 pm. We're working on combining all of our pages, but until then you will see announcements here.

We are thrilled to have Sally Babbitt along for the ride with Power In Purple! Not only is she a talented lawyer who founded Babbitt Legal Group, PC and works as an adjunct professor at Cooley Law School, she cares deeply about the fight against cancer.

Last night we launched Power In Purple 2017 with some truly incredible women in our community. Each Power In Purple candidate has been tasked with wearing purple every day in November and raising $2500 to fund the American Cancer Society's life saving mission. Relay For Life of East Lansing wrap up will be held on July 11 at 6:00 pm at the East Lansing office of the American Cancer Society (1755 Abbey Rd, East Lansing, MI). At wrap up, we will be discussing what went well and what can be improved about our event, and anyone who is interested in becoming part of the event committee is welcome to come and learn more!

It's time to celebrate! Thanks to your amazing fundraising efforts, we have made our goal for the event season! This is a huge accomplishment, and with the $30,000+ that we've raised, we could fund 300 nights at a Hope Lodge, over 3000 rides to and from treatment, or be part of the next research study that makes a major breakthrough in the fight against cancer.

Any funds raised before August 31st will count towards this event season, so if you have addition funds coming in, they will still be a part of your team and personal fundraising efforts.

Watch your emails for information about our wrap up meeting which will take place in the next month.
