Michigan State University Concrete Canoe Team The students of Michigan State University design, fabricate and race a 20 foot canoe made entirely out of concrete.

Competition Breakdown:
25% - Final Product
(canoe, display, etc)

25% - Technical Presentation
(5 min presentation, 7 min question session)

25% - Technical Paper

25% - Paddling Races
(5 races - 2 woman sprint, 2 man sprint, 4 person co-ed sprint, 2 woman endurance, 2 man endurance)

The 2013 National Concrete Canoe Competition was held June 20-22, 2013 at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Urbana, IL.
