Alternative Spartan Breaks Challenge Yourself. Challenge the World. Alternative Spartan Breaks (ASB) is a service-learning organization dedicated to creating lifelong active citizens.

Every year, ASB sends students from Michigan State University across the United States and abroad on quality service trips during winter and spring breaks; ASB also offers weekend trips throughout Michigan. These trips expose participants to social and environmental issues while giving them the opportunity to volunteer their time, travel and meet new people!
