🌟 AM Session: Groundwork & Desensitizing
🌟 PM Session: Back to Basics + Barrel Racing/Gymkhana Drills

Whether you ride competitively or just for the love of it, this clinic is designed for everyone. Strong groundwork is the foundation of every great horse and rider partnership. It builds trust, communication, and confidence from the ground up. When that foundation is solid, everything under saddle becomes smoother, safer, and more successful.

The afternoon session will tie it all together by focusing on the fundamentals of riding. Going “back to basics” is something even the most experienced riders benefit from because no matter your discipline, strong position, control, and understanding of your horse are what truly elevate your performance.

🌿🐴 IHA Spring Clean Up! 🐴🌿

Did you know that IHA proudly holds a stewardship with Suffolk County Parks, which allows us to fully maintain and operate out of the Bohemia Equestrian Center? Pretty amazing, right? But here’s the thing… we’re 100% volunteer-based, and it truly takes a village to keep our grounds looking beautiful and keep everything running smoothly!

That’s where you come in 💪

📅 Spring Clean Up Day: Saturday, April 11th at 10a
We’re inviting all members (and non-members too!) to come out and lend a hand sprucing up the BEC. Whether you can stay all morning or just stop by for a bit, every helping hand makes a difference!

🧹 What to bring:
• Rake
• Pitchfork
• Wheelbarrow (if you have one—huge help!)

🎓 Need volunteer hours?
This is a perfect opportunity for youth to earn community service time while giving back to the horse community!

🥤 We’ve got you covered:
Refreshments and water will be available for all volunteers.
