October is National Adopt A Shelter Dog month!

There are so many wonderful dogs at your local animal shelters/rescues who would love to meet you – we know because we have met a bunch while delivering supplies to shelters all over CT.
Adoption rates have slowed down dramatically since the pandemic, so shelters have been filling up.

Check in with your local animal control and rescues, some often reduce their adoption rates during this month to encourage the public to visit their amazing pups, and hopefully adopt one.

We would like to thank St. Stephen's Episcopal Church for inviting us to attend their annual Blessings of the Animals event. It was a beautiful day to see so many of our furry friends gathering with human friends to celebrate the Feast of St Francis of Assisi. Rev. Erin delivered a beautiful sermon and walked among the crowd blessing the animals, stuffies, and photos of animals who have passed/couldn't attend. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to those who attended and for the pet food and monetary donations. We are honored to have been part of this event and greatly appreciate the generosity of the community.
