So far we have one business that signed up for this program! The State of CT through DECD has funded $10 coupons that you can give out to your customers to keep them shopping with you. The state will reimburse you for the coupons that get redeemed. Customer appreciation reimbursed! Time to apply!!

Small businesses in Middlesex County are eligible for a grant of up to $25,000 to fund projects that have positive impacts on the business. Please share with any businesses that might be interested! Heads up! the 63-hour Bridge Closures will begin Sunday, June 4, and will occur every week (except the holiday weeks of July 4, September 4, and October 9) through the beginning of November. Closures will be from 8pm on Sunday through 11am on Wednesday. We suggest businesses and residents create their alternate plans now and practice them prior to closures. The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) in collaboration with local Emergency Services is implementing text message notifications as part of their construction communication efforts for the East Haddam Swing Bridge Rehabilitation project. This notification platform delivered through the Haddam/East Haddam Everbridge Notification System will enable CTDOT to provide alerts regarding the bridge status for travelers.

We will send text alerts for bridge closures and re-openings, closure cancellations, and any emergency closures.

To Opt-in, text the word SWINGBRIDGE to 888777 or you can scan the QR code.
