We invite families, professionals, and anyone interested in assistive technology and switch access to join us for a free live webinar and demo of Benny’s Accessibility Hub, a switch access web app inspired by Benny’s journey back to finding his voice again and rediscovering joy through video games after not being able to play for over a decade.

Ari will lead the session live on Zoom, Benny’s Accessibility Hub is completely free, requires no downloads, and can be navigated using one or two switches. The hub is designed to be simple and flexible, with features that include a growing library of interactive games, phrase and media boards, the ability to search YouTube videos, and custom game level editors that allow people to build games tailored to an individual’s abilities. You can access the app at narbefoundation.org

This is a great opportunity to explore the hub, ask questions, and share feedback that helps guide what NARBE House builds next as they continue creating and sharing games and tools through the NARBE Foundation.

The webinar is open to all, including families, caregivers, and those who support individuals with complex needs.

The NARBE Foundation was inspired by Ben finding his voice and his joy again through video games. After more than a decade without access, we realized how many families are still searching for ways to help their loved one with complex needs engage with the world again.

We focus on switch access 🔵🔴 and share Benny’s Accessibility Hub, created by our family. It is open source, free, and built with no barriers. Simple to use, and we are just getting started.

NARBE Foundation also donates hardware kits and share resources for families navigating assistive technology.

A like, comment, share, or repost truly helps spread the word and may reach someone who is still waiting for access. 💙

We’re honored to have the NARBE Foundation and our family featured on Reclaiming AI, Chantelle’s Substack publication exploring ethical, human-centered uses of artificial intelligence.

Through Ben’s journey, the piece shows what’s possible when AI is used to support dignity, independence, and connection rather than efficiency alone. It reflects the heart of our mission: building open, accessible tools that meet people where they are and empower families to create solutions that truly work.

If you’re on Substack, a restack helps this story reach more families, caregivers, and builders who care about accessibility and ethical uses of AI.

Thank you, Chantelle, for thoughtfully featuring the foundation and helping amplify this work.

We are excited to share that the NARBE Foundation has awarded a $1,000 grant to Switched Adapted Toys to support their ongoing research and development work.

At Switched Adapted Toys, their mission is Making Play Possible. They are dedicated to providing resources, how-to videos, and adapted toys that empower children with disabilities to play, learn, and grow.

We are also working together to explore ways to make switches more affordable for families, and we hope to donate hardware kits later this year to further support access to adaptive play.

Their work aligns closely with our commitment to accessibility, independence, and joy through technology. We are proud to support the impact they are making.

Thank you for reposting and sharing! We want to help more families.

After building these groundbreaking apps for Ben with AI, we've had dozens of families reach out asking how to get something like this.

We want to help so we made Ben's apps free and open source online through our nonprofit the NARBE Foundation.

If you believe in this, it would help a lot if you could share to reach more families. Thank you. ❤️
