Yesterdays walk. So many trees gone laying in piles.

Where a trail of max 6 ft was to be cut some potions are cut back 3 times that. Paths cut so close it looks like a weaving line at Disney. All of this so the donor base could get what they were promised (3 miles of mountain bike trails.) Habitats ruined all because Humans want to ride bikes in the woods. 🥲

Another before an after. This is an area where there was no bike path prior. Mystified as to why we couldn’t improve upon the the existing foot paths. Choosing to carve though the woods where trails never existed seems unnecessary.

Watching this dog walker in the woods today. I noticed many blind corners with zero places to step off. With deep embankments and narrow turns. I hope a biker and a pedestrian never meet.
