Bravissimo to Luigi Carroccia on his elegant and poetic all-Chopin recital at the New Britain Museum of American Art this past Sunday. His sold-out concert included the Barcarolle, Nocturnes Op. 62, and the Preludes, Op. 28. What a great way to close out 2024! 🎶🎹🎶

Our 27th season began today with an absolutely brilliant recital of Chopin, Rachmaninoff, and Liszt by pianist Vladimir Rumyantsev at our beautiful home, the New Britain Museum of American Art. Vladimir is currently pursuing his doctorate at the Hartt School with Jose Ramos Santana.

The Society promotes the musical arts by sponsoring piano recitals by renowned pianists and promoting young performing artists.
The Fryderyk Chopin Society of CT has been sponsoring piano recitals by world renowned pianists since 1998. The richness of the program and virtuosity of the featured musicians offers Central Connecticut the best of the rare performance genre of the piano recital.
