Our 1st movie showing is this Friday! Come for a lovely end of summer community get togeher and enjoy pizza and popcorn on us. We're watching the wizard of Oz! Bring your own lawn chair and a bit of cash if you want extra goodies.

Are you high-energy, creative, and passionate about working with kids? The Fairfield Community Center is looking for a dynamic, fun, and reliable Head Counselor to join our Black Creek Adventures team!

In this role, you’ll be a mentor to both kids and staff, shaping a memorable experience for children in kindergarten through sixth grade across our after-school program, vacation camps and summer camps.

What We’re Looking For:

Someone over 18 who has experience working with K-6 youth
A natural leader who thrives in a team environment
Reliable, patient, self-motivated, and full of positive energy
First Aid/CPR certified (or ready to get certified)
Pass a comprehensive background check
Able to complete online training
Available 3-5 every day after school, 2-5 on Wednesdays

Compensation & Perks:

Pay Rate: $18.00 - $20.00 / hour (Based on your experience)
Great experience for future educators, social workers, and recreational leaders
A supportive, fun, and active team environment

EDIT: they are gone! So happy to see them go to our community rather then a compost or Costcos garbage 🍌❤️

Does anyone wants some bananas for their livestock or even their freezer. Come on down to the center today and take as much as you like. Costco just donated 5 boxes. I will be here until early afternoon. If you stop by and they are still outside have at them. Otherwise they will be here Tuesday. After Tuesday they will be composed
