COBA recognizes Correction Officer A. Hakeem for his alertness and professionalism while assigned to the visit search area at RNDC. During a search following a visit, CO Hakeem noticed something suspicious and recovered a concealed package containing 10 sharpened metal scalpels from an inmate.

This is the kind of vigilance that keeps our facilities, correction officers and everyone inside them safer. Please join us in recognizing CO Hakeem as one of NYC’s BOLDEST Heroes!
