WE ARE SO THANKFUL
On June 26th the East Conway Community Hall hosted itsβs 65th Annual Strawberry Festival. This year we saw people gather from all ages across all generations to have fun, share in a wonderful meal and of course splurge on our famous Strawberry Shortcake.
Our core group of volunteers, aka βKeepers of the Hall,β cherishes this community event and sincerely thanks everyone who made the day such a pleasure. The Keepers dedicate many hours in the weeks leading up to the event and are happy to see the people come together. This year, we saw returning volunteers who always come to enjoy the good cheer and camaraderie. It was wonderful to see new faces as well. A big shout out to the Center Conway Fire Department for involving their children and colleagues.
For years Sherman Farm has been a support in countless ways; from ordering strawberries, allowing the use of their coolers/freezers, advising on many food related issues that arise before and during the festival, and volunteering during the festival to name a few. We would be hard-pressed to carry out this event without their help and guidance.
Of course, we must recognize you, the community for again supporting our cause to keep the East Conway Community Hall a place to gather. To everyone involved in this yearβs festival - THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! We cannot wait until next year.
