Rhoer Club History

The organization was established in 1939 at a biennial conference (the 14th Boule) in New York City.

A love for youth and the development of their full potential was the primary motivating factor that inspired Founder Mary Lou Allison

�For our youth, Juneteenth means honoring the strength of those who came before us, celebrating how far we’ve come, and continuing to build a brighter future.

We are proud to see our Rhoers reflect on the meaning of this important day and celebrate Black history, joy, and liberation.
