The Canaan Conservation Club is deeply saddened by the loss of our friend and member, Gary Davis.

Gary was more than just a member—he was part of the heart of our club. Whether it was lending a hand, sharing a story, or simply showing up with a smile, his presence made a lasting impact on all of us.

Our thoughts are with his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be greatly missed but never forgotten.

Rest easy, Gary. 💚

From smiling anglers of all ages to some seriously impressive catches, this event showed exactly why we love what we do. 📸✨ It was a great day out on the ice, celebrating fishing, community, and the awesome outdoors right here in Canaan!

The Canaan Conservation Club Annual Hard Water Fishing Derby (2/14/26) was a huge success! A big congratulations to all of our winners and everyone who came out to brave the cold and make it such a fantastic community event.

🎣 Crappie Champion: Freya Wolf – 11 ½”
