This is what we mean when we say precision shooting. This evening during our public shoot a bug landed on Jackson's target and he was able to shoot and kill the bug without penetrating the target.

Tonight was our first public shot and it couldn't have gone any better! We had such an amazing group of kids, and loved seeing all the lanes full. Some of our junior team members even helped out our new kids! We are already counting down the days until our next public shot next Wednesday!

The Butler City Hunting and Fishing Club would like to announce that our public shoots will be starting back up on October 7th at 6pm and will continue until April.
Equipment is available and only a minimal fee will be charged to cover targets and am******on. A junior membership to the club is required.

We are so excited and can't wait to see everyone. We hope you will join us!

The scores are all in for the 2026 University of Akron Zippy Open and our juniors did amazing!

In the Smallbore discipline:

Jackson shot a person best of 571 with 25x's! This places him in 32 out of 155 people. Andrew shot a 556 with 18x's placing him in 74th and Aurora shot a 527 with 7x's placing her in 118th place.

In the Air R***e discipline:

Andrew finished in 100th place out of 158 people with a 588.3, Aurora shot a 600.0 placing her in 71st, and Jackson shot a 603.2 placing him in 60th.

We are so proud juniors. We would love it if you could take a second to congratulate them, including Jackson with his amazing PR!

The last two weekends 3 of junior team members have shot at the 2026 University of Akron Zippy Open. The final scores are not yet posted but after hearing the feedback from our juniors they all did amazing!

Competition season is in full swing. This weekend Aurora and Andrew competed at the CMP September Monthly Match while Jackson competes at the University of Akron Zippy open, we will make a post about Akron later as Jackson is currently shooting.

In the 3PAR competition, Andrew finished 13th with a 570 28x's, Aurora finished 14th with a 570 27x's. Both of them were happy with their scores and it was awesome to see them both finish right alongside another.

In 60 shot air, Andrew finished 34th with a score of 576.7 and Aurora finished with a personal best of 613.3 in 9th place. Aurora missed being in the finals by .2. We are so proud of our juniors. Please take a moment to congratulate our team members.

Last night some of our junior team members received their medals from the 2nd Quarter Aces Postal.

In Air R***e 3x20 Natalie took 1st place, and Andrew got 2nd place!

In 60 shot Air R***e Natalie took 1st once again, and Jackson took 2nd place!

Aurora is the 2025-2026 Scopos virtual match 3x10 champion.

We are so proud of our Junior team members!
