Last Saturday, we welcomed everyone to our annual Game Day, known as the All-Star Game, celebrating the 17th anniversary of this special event.
What began seventeen years ago as a way to showcase the basketball skills our Buddies were learning each week has grown into a celebration that all participants look forward to.
This program would not be possible without our dedicated coaches and staff who help make this program run smoothly and who provide a level of encouragement that allows each child to learn at their own pace and rise to their fullest potential. A world of thanks to our sponsors, and the incredible support of the Township of East Brunswick, including the Mayor, Town Council, State Assemblyman, Economic Development Officer, School Administration and Board, Recreation Department, and EBTV.
Special thanks to Bobbie LeMay and Gary Alexander for capturing the memorable moments throughout the day (pictures have been posted), Neal Shah for all the incredible videos, EBTV for their coverage of the game, and to Lyric Davila for delivering a beautiful rendition of the National Anthem.
We are also deeply grateful to our Fast Break Trustees, Nikki Tafilowski, Bobbie LeMay, Shirley McGowan, Neal Shah and Rob Tafilowski, whose dedication allows this program to continue to thrive. Their unending love for the program allows us to provide YOUR children, whether Buddy or PAL, with the opportunity to express themselves in a fun environment and be part of something special.
Most importantly, this program is about your children, always has been and always will be. You have given us the greatest gift of all. Each week, you have opened your hearts and allowed us to become part of your family. Your children have left an indelible mark on all of us, and we thank you for letting us be part of your lives, no matter how small it may be.
Hoping to see everyone on Saturday, March 7th at 10:00am at the Awards Breakfast in the Churchill Jr. HS cafeteria.
