The date for 2026 has been chosen! Mark your calendars, open to the first 30 vehicles who register. Registration will open the second week of April.

Open to anyone, well, we do prefer those with little to no off road experience, to join us for Wisconsin's original (10 years this year) and only free (that we know of) 4WD clinic open to the public.

Hey folks;
We have received quite a few PMs asking many of the same questions in the last couple of days, so here are a few FAQ's and answers.

1. Is our annual clinic free?
Yes, it is 100% free. That being said, we ask that you only sign up if you are 110% sure you can attend. This is our club's annual public service event. We enjoy spending the day with each other as much as we enjoy seeing new 4WD enthusiasts find joy in our hobby.
2. Can we bring a stock vehicle?
ABSOLUTELY! We are here for you to learn how and when you should use 4 wheel drive. We have had MANY brand new vehicles on the trail.
3. Do you allow Toyotas?
ABSOLUELTY! Our clinic is open to all brands. 4L4W is an 'unbiased' 4WD club.
4. How do I sign up for your clinic?
We will share a link to an online sign up the second week of April.
The day is split into 2 sessions 15 participants each. 9-1 & 2-6. We do break for lunch for our volunteers from 1-2.
5. Where is your organization located?
4L4W is based out of the Madison area, but have members statewide. Please visit our website https://4l4w.org/ for more information.
Here is a picture from a work day our committee had a few years back. A lot of volunteer hours have gone into this clinic over the last 8 years. In 2024, we had 20 members volunteer their day to ensure our 27 participants had a great experience.

We've had a couple last minute participant cancellations for Saturday. If you have signed up recently(the last couple of days), but haven't been sent the last bit of info this week, please message us here. We appreciate those who couldn't make it let us know so that we could open those spots for others.

Participation is FREE and sign up is mostly painless.
