We're thrilled to share that Corie Blain, Banking Center Officer, has been elected to be President of the Friends of Stoughton Center, succeeding John Stagnone, a corporator of South Shore Bank.
The organization focuses on attracting development, supporting merchants, and enhancing the physical appearance of the downtown location, while honoring its rich history and promoting arts and culture for the benefit of the entire community.
One of Corie's proudest accomplishments in 2024 was the organization's collaboration with the Hometown Hero Banner Program, an initiative led by the Stoughton Veterans Service Department. This meaningful program pays tribute to the brave men and women who have served or are currently serving in the United States Armed Forces, recognizing their dedication and sacrifice with banners displayed throughout Stoughton Center.
Corie says one of her favorite quotes to live by is, "If you want to go fast, go alone, and if you want to go far, go together”. She adds, "It's an honor to be in this role. I was born in Stoughton and so it means a lot to me to be involved in this buzzing community in a new way".
The Bank is excited to support Corie and the Friends of Stoughton Center as part of our commitment to the Stoughton community.
