Just a friendly reminder that this Saturday is EBYSA night out at New England Revolution! The Revs sent out a parking pass to anyone who already bought a ticket. Our lot is 14 and 16, and they ask that you display the pass clearly on your dashboard before entering the parking area at Gilette.

Let's Go Revs!!

💙⚽️ EBYSA would like to take a moment to highlight the importance of our youth referees.

In the Spring, our Festival of Future Stars program (U8 for boys and girls) and our Instructional program (children in Pre-K and K) rely on youth referees to help the program run effectively. Without them, we as an organization could not function to give players an opportunity to learn game skills, cooperate together on a team, and have fun. We are grateful for their contribution!

Please be mindful that these referees are children themselves, and are learning how to call elements of the game fairly. Their first priority is safety, as well as explaining to these young players how to correct any actions that could be considered a foul and/or dangerous play. Will they get everything 100% correct? Of course not, but even adult, experienced referees feel similarly challenged.

We are asking coaches, parents, and spectators on the sidelines to behave appropriately and calmly during games -- any behavior that could be considered inappropriate, aggressive, or puts our referees in an uneasy situation will not be tolerated. Reminder: these children are between the ages of 4 and 8, and none of them are playing professionally in the next couple years. If you feel your emotions getting the best of you, we recommend you take a deep breath, maybe distance yourself from the pitch, and say "it's just a game."

Thank you for taking the time to read our PSA. We are committed to making our Spring programs one focused on development, positivity, enthusiasm, and enjoyment!

EBYSA Field Clean-Up is ON for tomorrow!🌿

If you’ve ever wanted a simple, meaningful way to give back to our soccer community—this is it.

East Bridgewater Youth Soccer Association is hosting our annual field clean-up, and we’re looking for volunteers to help get everything ready for the season. Many hands make light work, and even an hour of your time makes a real impact for the kids who play here.

**Dates & Times:**
Saturday, April 4th | 8:00 AM – 11:00 AM
*(Weather dependent)*

No special skills needed—just show up ready to pitch in.
This is your chance to directly support the fields your players use every week. We appreciate any time you can give!

*Additionally, a local Girl Scout Troop will be there selling boxes of cookies that they have in excess! They will take cash or Venmo 🍪

Hope to see some friendly faces there! 🙌

Good afternoon,

EBYSA Soccer Fields will be closed today (April 2nd) due to the standing water and field conditions caused by the weather.🌧

Thank you for your continued understanding as we try to maintain the fields during this very wet spring.

Hoping for some more sun soon! ☀️

ATTENTION!

Fields are officially open as of March 30th for team practices.

Please use caution as conditions may still be soft in some areas. Help us keep fields in great shape by avoiding heavily worn or wet spots when possible.

Due to all the rain and melting, some fields may still not be lined.

FOFS joint practice is on hold for this week. (More information to follow). If we need to close fields again due to weather or conditions, we will post here and emails will be sent out. Additionally, coaches will be making judgement calls for their individual practices, and most likely will be communicating via email to parents.

Thank you!🥅
