Trails are very wide and easy to negotiate.The course starts on asphalt and then leads into the woods for a truly beautiful walk through the countryside.

Today we decided that it was time to donate the money we raised as it was just sitting in a account!!! We donated $2,831.16! Thank you to all that sponsored! We will have another event when the world slows down!

Sooooo I’m reaching out to everyone on here. Volunteers for animals have asked me to join this event. I really wanted the mutt strut to be a success. I honestly can’t tell you if we will ever be able to do this event with the restrictions. So I’m considering donating what we have raised to this event or just to volunteers for animals. Obviously not without asking everyone if they would like their donations, registration fees and sponsorships back first. So I’m asking you guys what do you think. Especially those of you that have already signed up and paid. Or do we hold off and try to do this next year?

UPDATE: After talking it over with people we have decided to reschedule the Mutt Strut until April 2021. Date TBA. There is just so much unknown. With so many events being moved and already on schedule.

Since we are all stuck home you can always adopt a dog or cat!!! We are looking to reschedule the event for September or October 🙂

With a heavy heart I’m sad to say we have been told tonight we have to reschedule the 5K Mutt Strut. We plan to reschedule for fall. We will post more when we know more. If you want a refund please reach out and we will get that back to you ASAP. Anyone that wants to just keep the registration for the fall that will be saved. This means this can be a bigger event and hopefully more money to save the animals.

Why this event means so much to me!!
Hello It’s Adrienne (this is my event)
Why is this event to important to me... well it’s simple from a young age I loved animals. I did animal science in school and then became a groomer in 2005. I have always had dogs and cats a hamster and a bunny. In 2007 I moved to Atlanta and started fostering... I had 5 of my own rescue dogs and 2 rescue cats. I have lost 2 of the 5 to old age! I fostered tons of dogs from old and injured to litters of puppies! I bottled fed Titan my own boy! After moving home and having a son. I had to pump the breaks on fostering. My dogs are all over 8 and don’t want anyone new coming in. I did just rescue a new kitty Ziggy!! So what better way to help animals by having a awesome event. We can enjoy the park... pet and kiss on dogs! All while saving animals!! 🐶🐈🐕‍🦺🦮🐩🐕 if you made it this far thank you so much!!
