Lake Meade Community Builders to promote community life and spirit through educational, social and charitable activities. An educational talk or presentation usually follows.

Previously Lake Meade Homemakers, the group has been meeting at Lake Meade for four decades. The Club supports many charities in our community and the surrounding East Berlin area. Our gatherings are held on the second Monday of the month at the Lake Meade Fire House from September through May, with a social time beginning at 12:30pm and short business meeting starting at 1:00pm. In December, we host a special celebration at the Community Center with a Holiday spirit-raising performance by the Bermudian Springs Eagles Chorus. Summertime highlights include a garden party and boat party. We invite you to join us at our meetings and encourage you to become a member. Our annual dues are presently $10.00 per year.

Lake Meade Community Builders were proud to present $1,000 to BSHS Senior Landon E, who wrote his award winning essay on the importance of service. The group celebrated with a buffet luncheon and afterwards recorded a “good morning WGAL” video clip. Watch for it!

March Meeting speaker was inspiring memoir/reflections from Norina Bentzel. Her moving story inspired us to find the good in the sadness. There is always HOPE AND HEALING IF YOU FORGIVE.

What a fun time we had at Unforgettable Big Band event on Saturday. Great mix of songs to dance to and watch the swing dancers. We most enjoyed Sweet Caroline which got everyone out of their seats.
Thanks to generous donations, we raised $1,000 for local charities.
