If you have not been to the pool in the last few days, stop by and see the updates! It has been busy! However, the pool is still in need of a few items, please check your garage/basement and see if you can help with any of these items:
Major item needed: Freezer or a Refrigerator
Donations of: water, snacks (chips, cookies,etc) ice cream to sell at
the pool to raise money
Blue paint (any shade for a project - need a quart/gallon)
Ceiling fans (need 2) one for each rest room
Umbrellas/umbrella stands/patio tables/chairs (to
donate/ or borrow for the season)
A white board for announcements (the big board is gone)
Wooden bookcase/shelves for the office for storage
Fake or real plants to set around (especially large plants)
Outdoor rugs any size
Outdoor window (needs to be able to lock for the office)
Some outdoor items: sheppard's hook, bird house, anything
decorativre to help decorate the front
Plants: 1 or 2 climbing vines
Pine needles/Mulch (looking for someone to sponsor this project)
Trees (appropriate for the pool) we would like a border of leyland
cypress or something similar (need several for a border)
Lockable storage for the bathroom (like a rubbermaid cabinet to
store/lock cleaning items, etc)
And always donations of toilet paper/paper towels/trashbags,cleaning supplies and people's time for cleaning, watching the pool, AND help with mowing!
Folks the pool has made great strides, if we gain approx 35 more family memberships, the pool will be out of debt and in the black!! Then we can start fundraising for a new roof and other needs!
