Yesterday was an amazing day for the festival! Thank you to everyone who came out and supported us! There are so many sponsors, volunteers, bands, public services, police and fire departments, and guests to thank for making this such a fun and enjoyable year! The night before the festival is always such a great experience. There's such a positive energy flowing through the venues, people are talking about the event and the bands they want to come see. Strangers are in town checking out locations that they haven't seen before and the weather is warm and feels like the beginning of summer. Tomorrow thousands of music lovers will get to see how amazing East Aurora is and I'm sure many of them will fall in love with this amazing town!

Another great aspect of The Heart of Music is that we have this amazing Kids Zone! At Hamlin Park, ITAC- It Takes a Community Drug and Alcohol Prevention Coalition runs an event geared strictly towards the youth of our community. They allow kids bands to take center stage and create an alcohol free zone where kids can have fun during the festival while being responsible and safe!
