As of April 5, 2022 the East Aurora Driving Society FB page will no longer be active. At this time the club is limited to a few social gatherings and occasional informal driving get togethers.
The board of directors is currently working with the state and town to have a ring side pavilion built at the Chur Equestrian Center on Knox Rd.

If anyone is looking for a Combined Trial this is a new format for them.

Dear competitors and friends of LDC:

Due to the uncertainty involving COVID-19 the LDC board has decided to change the format of the 2021 show from the traditional pleasure show to a double Combined Test (CT) weekend. The format of a 2 day CT will allow competitors to compete in one or both days of driven dressage followed by a cones course. The dates of the 2021 show are Saturday July 17 and Sunday July 18.

Division levels offered will include: Training, Preliminary and Intermediate for singles and pairs (horse, pony and VSE) and the 2 day format will enable competitors to drive the same tests for both days. Since this event will be an ADS recognized competition, the dressage scores will count toward the ADS dressage medals program.

Our official for the weekend will be Sue Rogers from Proctorsville Vermont. On-site stabling will not be offered, but local stabling options will be provided to competitors that would require nearby stabling.

We are looking forward to seeing many of you this summer!

ello all, What a topsy turvy year this has been. Hope everyone is staying healthy. We have had to cancel a lot of group driving activities we had planned but hope you are getting out and having fun with your horses.
We had planned on having the fall party/meeting on Nov. 8 at Emery Park, like last year but the park is not allowing any events at the pavilion. So at this time the meeting/party is cancelled. We still want to have the meeting/party and are working on finding another venue that will be Covid 19 precaution friendly.
If anyone has any suggestions please let us know.
Stay tuned for further info.
Our fall parties are always a big hit and we feel that we can stay socially distant and still conduct business and mingle safely.
