EAFD Auxiliary hosted another successful kids Christmas Party for all the kids and grandkids of the members! Our volunteer firefighters respond to calls that happen 24/7, therefore taking them away from family events or fun. This is a day that they can all spend together and the kids can visit with Santa! Thank you to our volunteer firefighters that keep us safe! Also thank you to my Auxiliary peeps for all the help in setting this up! We look forward to next year! Happy Holidays!! ❤️ 🎄❄️🎀

The Fire Hall has decked the Halls! And we sent a special invitation to Santa for this Saturday to the Kid's Christmas party!! We know he'll show up! He hasn't let us down yet!! 🎀🎄

It may be hot out now, but you'll be comfy cozy this winter with a new handmade quilt! Yes!! I said handmade! We have very talented quilters (Carol, Brenda & Barb) who have stitched their hearts out and created this materpiece! Tickets are $1 each!! Contact any Auxiliary member today for your ticket (or maybe 10!)! Drawing will be November 10th! This could make an amazing Christmas gift!

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of 60-year active member and past Chief Tom Bender. Tom joined the East Aurora Fire Department in April of 1964 and was Chief from 1977-1979. Chief Bender was known not only as a firefighter but also for his involvement in countless fire service organizations, as a disaster coordinator, entrepreneur, and, most importantly, a devoted husband and father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Chief Bender was a wealth of knowledge and was a staple of the East Aurora Community for decades. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers; we will share additional information on arrangements when they become available.
