Yearbook Ads are for sale!

You can purchase a personal ad to send a special message to your child or teacher in the yearbook. Business ads are also available for purchase and a great way to support BWES. Ads are due by March 13, 2026.

We are excited to get to celebrate our wonderful staff at Broadus Wood. We have a few events planned to try to show our staff just how much we appreciate them, but we could use your help so we are able to make the week even more special for our staff. ‎‎

We realize this is very short notice, so we are asking for monetary donations to go towards lunch/meals and a daily raffle give away for our teachers. You are also welcome to purchase or gift a gift card for our raffle as well.‎

Our Goal is to provide our staff with:‎‎
- Lunch ‎‎
-Sundae Bar‎‎
-Snacks and hydration bar‎‎
-Bonus of Breakfast and another lunch/treat day (if we raise enough money)‎‎
-1-2 daily raffle giveaways. Prizes would include gift cards to movies, local restuarants, amazon, or other donated items.‎‎

We are excited to show off the 2 new shade canopies on the front playground!
For years, our staff and students have had to go with out any shade in the front playground during recess. Thanks to the support of our Broadus Wood Community, the PTO was able to raise enough funds to purchase these two large Shade canopies that were installed right after Spring break!

We know its hard to see sometimes what the PTO money goes towards but we have been saving up for these for a few years (approximately $20,000) and we appreciate your support in helping us to provide these for our school!

We’ve extended the pre-paid entry & pizza pre-order deadline to tonight at 10:00 PM – so there’s still time to submit your order and skip the lines!

We’re offering several ways to make your Aloha Nights experience smooth and fun, including:

🙌 Opportunities to donate and volunteer

We still need volunteers to help make the night a success—whether it’s setup, check-in, concessions, or games, every role makes a difference!

Murray Elementary has invited all to attend this dialogue with one of our school board members to discuss the recent announcement of the budget cuts which include the FLES program (Spanish program at schools). If you would like to attend, meeting is tonight at Murray Elementary at 6:30 pm.
