in_harmony_farm WHO ARE WE?

In Harmony Farm equips up-and-coming farmers with access to land, tools, education, and market opportunities to build small, regenerative farm businesses that grow food, steward the land, and strengthen Iowa’s communities and ecosystems. We are a farm in central Iowa serving socially disadvantaged Iowans, building a vibrant and healthy ecosystem, and creating meaningful experiences for members of

our community. OUR MISSION
To work with our farmland and its organic resources to feed our neighbors, demonstrate regenerative agriculture, protect native habitat, and offer meaningful experiences.

We are incredibly grateful to have received a generous Community Betterment Grant from Prairie Meadows Casino, Racetrack & Hotel!

This grant allowed us to expand our farm toolkit with a new shed full of supplies, tools, and tractor attachments. The tractor forks are especially helpful for moving pallets of produce and collective farmer purchases like cover crops or fertilizer. Our operations manager has also used several of the tools for trench work to improve water flow in farmers' fields.

Having a shed full of tools ready for everyday needs on the farm helps us work more efficiently and better serve the IHF farmers and our community. Thank you, Prairie Meadows, for investing in our work!
